5Starr Scooters Team Edit | TBT

It is quite remarkable to discover just how much a company and its team of riders can develop and evolve over the course of a three-year period. We at 5Starr Scooters are proud of our steady progression throughout the years, but sometimes it’s nice to look back and truly examine just how much growth that we’ve had the luxury of experiencing. We’ve had our fair share of product altercations, team changes, and overall growing pains, but our resilience has allowed us to bounce back from any and all obstacles that we have been faced with, which is one of the major explanations behind the level of success that we have managed to reach as a brand today. Roughly three-years ago we released a 5Starr Scooters team edit, which in hindsight may not have been our best work to date, but the comparison between back then and now showcases some spectacular growth. Our riders were much younger and far less talented than they are today, but this video accomplishes a whole lot more than just showcasing talented riders. Our Team Edit captures a specific moment in time for our brand, which is why we feel that it is so important for each and every single one of you 5Starr Scooters fans out there to embark on this journey through time with us and watch this video.

This video may seem as though it is simply just a bunch of young scooter riders messing around and having fun on their scooters, but that’s because that’s precisely what it is. The video is representative of a much simpler period of time in the sport of freestyle scooter riding at large. It was a time when scooter riders were more concerned with improving their skills on the scooter than they were with their sponsors and everything else off of the scooter. This video is also representative of the longevity that 5Starr Scooters have been able to demonstrate over the course of last several years. We definitely couldn’t have made it this far without the significant contributions of our awesome team riders. In total, this video features a fairly substantial list of phenomenal freestyle scooter riders, including: Josh Smukal, Colton Herman, Austin Smith, Ian Hotchkiss, Kelden Garofalo, Kyle Collins, Alex Graham, and friends Kory Collins & Randy Graham. Based upon that detailed list of riders, it’s definitely safe to say that this video has some excellent scooter riding in it. I personally loved seeing all of the superb street footage that they collected for this video because it seems to be becoming more and more uncommon for a large group of riders to go out on a street mission to seek out spots. They definitely found some very cool obstacles, and the tricks and lines that they filmed on those obstacles were even cooler. Be sure to check this video out and enjoy a little piece of 5Starr Scooters history.
